The Stoke Row 10K Run and Free Music Festival - Sunday 22nd May 2011
Open to all runners, supporters and the general public - 10.30am to 8pm
The 10k route will start and finish at The Cherry Tree Inn, Stoke Row, taking you through some beautiful undulating Oxfordshire Countryside. Starting at 10.30 am, you will be chip timed, have water stops, plenty of clear route signage and marshalls. All runners finishing will receive a great goodie bag containing a Stoke Row 10K china mug, large homemade organic flapjack, drink and discount vouchers. Frist Lady and Mens Open winners will win dinner for two at the wonderful Cherry Tree Inn, renowned for its great food. All other race class winners - Junior M/F (15-17) Vet M/F (40+) Super Vet M/F (50+) and Masters M/F (60+) will receive prizes from The Sweatshop in Reading.
From 12pm to 8 pm there will be a very special free Music Festival filled with music from all genres: Blues, folk, bluegrass, Rock 'n' Roll, Swing, Jazz, Popular. Confirmed acts are as follows: Carol Decker, The Lynne Butler Band, The Joint is Jumping, Kith and Kin, Bleak Angel, The International Ukulele Club of Sonning Common, The Cotton Dons, The McRobbies, Better Than Life. All runners, supporters and general public very welcome. A BBQ, local beers, cream teas, bouncy castle and more will also be available. Proceeds from the day will be going to Stoke Row Primary School.
